The Bedroom Is Not The Problem

Liberal Democrats love to talk about how Republicans are obsessed with other people's sex lives and need to stay out of other people's bedrooms. The bedroom is not the problem; just see the previous post for an example of the left coming out of the bedroom and into our schools, and that is just one example of many. Or let's talk about them coming out of the bedroom into the street. Have you ever heard of Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco - just enter that into google and see where it takes you? Or the near 100 Gay Pride Parades and Events put on worldwide every year?

Parents Beware

In California, kindergartners were given "homosexual pledge cards:

"The pledge cards were produced by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, or GLSEN, and featured oaths that students would not use "anti-lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender language or slurs," that students would intervene on behalf of homosexual students when possible, and that they would actively support safer schools efforts." The teacher passed out the cards to her students then asked them to sign them. "According to a report on FoxNews.com, one parent was angry when she found her child's signature on the pledge card. LaBarbera believes this instance highlights the real agenda of the homosexual movement. "This is just bizarre, and it shows how the teachers with their radical sexual agenda want to start early to reprogram these kids' minds. They want to undermine the faith teachings that the kids have at home; this is part of a plan," he suggests. "To me, this is like Hitler with Nazi Germany and the Soviets wanting to get to the youth and change the kids by getting to them at a very young age." In the same report on FoxNews.com, a
spokesperson for the school agreed that the pledge was inappropriate for the kindergarten students and said that the pledges were meant for middle school and high school students."

This is why William Ayers is as dangerous now as he was in the 60's, perhaps even more so. What he and Obama were doing together was trying to radicalize the Chicago public schools. Ayers might be a nutcase, but he is not an idiot. He was not trying to improve the quality of education or raise test scores; he was trying to teach children to challenge authority and buck against the system.
Parents must take the time to pay attention to what is going on in their children's schools. If we don't we will not only lose our children, but the future of our nation. We must protect our children, as well as our own rights to rear them the way we see fit, because no one else will. There are a lot of people out there just waiting to get their hands on the minds of our children. We cannot just turn them over to the state. We must be vigilant or we will one day be telling our children of the "good old days, when we were free".
